If you listen back to the postseason preview podcast with Trucco, I’m still alive with the Brewers making it, and got the Red Sox right, as well. 2 for 4 is always a great day.
However, I did have the Indians winning it over Milwaukee. So I need to adjust my predictions for the AL.
I wholeheartedly believe this will take 7 games to decide. Sox win games 1, 3 and 6. Astros win 2, 4 and 5. That leaves Game 7 for Nathan Eovaldi and Rick Porcello to split the workload, three innings apiece, followed by Ryan Brasier in the eighth and Craig Kimbrel in the 9th, sending Boston back to the World Series.
Where I have Boston winning over Milwaukee.
Lorenzo Cain is your NLCS MVP.
Mookie Betts breaks out and earns the ALCS MVP honors.
