So the reigning World Series champions and the 2017 American League champions are facing off in the ALDS, yet they couldn’t get a primetime game. Everyone knows it’s because of the Red Sox – Yankees battle, but I honestly didn’t think it was a 100 percent lock that the series would get a primetime game two out of the first three games.
To be honest, as much as the viewership will be great for Boston v. New York, I don’t think they needed to put it in a primetime spot EVERY night. Could have easily given Cleveland and Houston the night game on Saturday.
Couldn’t even do that! Instead, the Astros and Indians are completely second fiddle in the American League, even though I think the Indians are the team to beat in the AL at the moment. And you can be it will be just as much a knock-down, drag-out game as Sox-Yanks.
