Seams Legit: Tim Tebow wants to keep living out his dreams…

It feels like every other week this guy is somehow relevant again.

I lost my mind over Tim Tebow’s first AA home run a few weeks ago and I’m still feeling the effects. It would be nice if he could just continue to hit .143, which he’s hitting now, and slide back into his College Football analyst job where I’ll never see him, again.

But that would be too easy.

Now there’s speculation Tebow might go back to football again, this time to play in the Alliance of American Football. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but that’s actually a step back from playing minor league baseball.

It doesn’t seem like he’s going to do it, but who knows, all he wants to do is “‘live out my dreams, not just what other people want me to do.” Tebow even said he still has offers from NFL teams to play, but no one wants him as a quarterback so no deal.

So let’s put this in perspective, Tebow would rather be a Rumble Pony than, let’s just say, a tight end for the Browns. (That’s just an example of the worst team, I haven’t heard connect him to any specific team).

I just don’t get it. It’s not like your ending your career as a pro athlete to become an accountant. You’re going from one sport to another, the one you originally “loved.”

But I guess he only loved playing quarterback. Which is kind of a flaw in itself. I feel like good quarterbacks have a good understanding of what everyone on both the offense and defense do. Add that to the list of reasons he wasn’t a good NFL quarterback.

Even though I bash this guy left and right, I think he could play other positions in the NFL. He clearly has raw athleticism. But if people don’t want him as a quarterback, then he’s not interested. This may be why I can’t stand Tebow. Guy has the opportunity to live out so many people’s dream, which is pretty damn close to what his was supposedly, and he’s not interested.

It’s not exactly what he wants so he’s not interested.
